I'm wondering how many of us started out likeing jazz.  Or is it music for the old?  Also, who are your favorite musicians, mainly, guiarist and drummers. I guess lets add bass, sax and piano.  How about the bands that you liked when you were in your teens.  Personally I went from Alvin Lee, Mick Box, Jimi Hendricks to Alan Holsworth and Joe Satriani and George Lynch to mention a few.  And drummers such as Ginger Baker, all time favorite Bubby Rich.  How about you?
